Dr. Rajendra D. Badgaiyan, MD, is a psychiatrist and cognitive neuroscientist. He is Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Richmond University Medical Center, and Professor of Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He received formal training in psychiatry, psychology, cognitive neuroscience, molecular imaging and neuroimaging. He was awarded the prestigious BK Anand National Research Prize in India and Solomon Award of Harvard Medical School. His research is focused on the study of neural and neurochemical mechanisms that control human brain functions. He developed the single scan dynamic molecular imaging technique (SDMIT) to detect, map, and measure neurotransmitters released acutely in the human brain during task performance. This technique is now used in laboratories all over the world. Using this technique, he studies dopaminergic control of human cognition and behavior. He is also interested in learning the nature of dysregulated dopamine neurotransmission in psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions. His research is funded by NIMH, NINDS, VA, and various foundations. Previously he served in the faculty of Harvard Medical School, SUNY Buffalo and University of Minnesota. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.

Temitope Farombi MD, FMCP (Neurology), is a graduate of University of Ibadan. She trained in internal medicine at the University College Hospital (UCH) and Neurology at UCH Ibadan Nigeria She obtained masters degree in Clinical Neuroscience at King’s College London. Temitope is a consultant Neurologist at the Chief Tony Anenih Geriatric center University college hospital, the first geriatric center in West Africa sub-region. Temitope practice specializes in the critical care neurology of the elderly, movement disorders, Dementia and headaches. Temitope was a visiting scholar to the Northwestern University Chicago, USA and has published articles in scientific journals.

He is the most prominent and well- known researcher in the field of Hypnotherapy and hypnosis in Iran. Beside being graduated in anesthesiology and cardiac anesthesia as subspecialty, he has been trained in heart transplantation anesthesia in Paris (2009) and became a faculty member of Iran University of Medical Sciences (Tehran) at the same time. He is an associate professor of cardiac anesthesia in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and the director of Training program of cardiac anesthesia fellowship there. He is one of the first trainers in Iranian Scientific Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ISSCH) who has nearly 30 years of experience in the field. He has been a board member of ISSCH for 18 years and has the most important role in the enhancement of clinical hypnosis as a science in Iran. Dr. Fathi has organized four international congresses on hypnosis in Iran (2012,2013 , 2015 and 2016) while he was the scientific secretary and main organizer of them. He is also the scientific secretary and main organizer of the first world congress on hypnodontics (September 2016) and international congress on Mental training (2017). He is the main organizer of the first Asian hypnosis congress on October 2019. He has organized more than 200 hypnosis conferences around Iran universities and presented many articles in national and international conferences. He has been the supervisor or advisor of more than 50 Master’s thesis to post-doctoral dissertations based on the integration of hypnosis with psychology, medicine and anesthesia in Iran. Dr. Mehdi Fathi has published many articles in international journals (ISI and PubMed indexed) and he has written 65 book titles about hypnosis and health care. He is the chief of the only branch of ISSCH in Khorasan province in Mashhad and a pioneer in using hypnosis for painless childbirth in Iran

Rouleau comes to The Neuro from the Université de Montréal, where he was Director of the CHU Ste-Justine Research Centre and founder and Director of the Centre of Excellence in Neuroscience. There he held the Canada Research Chair in Genetics of the Nervous System as well as the Jeanne-et-J.-Louis-Levesque Chair in Genetics of Brain Diseases. Dr. Rouleau is Director of the Réseau de Médecine Génétique Appliquée – Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé. Dr. Rouleau obtained his MD (Magna Cum Laude) in 1980 from the University of Ottawa and his PhD in Genetics at Harvard University in 1989. His post-graduate research in neuroscience was conducted at the Montreal Neurological Institute and at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Rouleau conducted his clinical training in internal medicine at the Montreal General Hospital, neurology residency at the Montreal Neurological Institute, and research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Tjitske Kleefstra is Clinical Geneticist working at the Department of Human Genetics, Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre. Prior to my training in this specialism, she finished MSc in both Medicine and Medical Biology. She have always been driven by searching for causes of medical disorders, in particular for genetic causes of intellectual disability (ID). During her PhD studies she came across a female with ID who had a particular chromosome disorder: a seemingly balanced translocation (two chromosome parts were exchanged) between chromosomes 9 and X.
